Last week I had a chance to practice the Synergy Method. Ocean Znanja’s trainer Petra was organizing a workshop where we had an opportunity to explore the synergy method, which through non-formal education activities helped us to become aware of the various concepts and beliefs we live by, the patterns of behavior that lead us from day to day to the same results and the opinions and attitudes we create about others.
But, firstly, what is this SM about? It is a healing technique that combines elements of bodywork with talk therapy. It is based on the concept of mind-body connection, which suggests that the mind and body interact to directly affect one’s health and well-being. The program of the workshop consists of :
- Introduction of the method
- Synergy method activities, where we’re expressing our concepts through using gentle touch to the colors on the walls, capturing a kind of Legos with closed eyes and, along with reflective listening+communication had a chance to explore our brain functioning
- Evaluation
Thanks to this workshop I became more relaxed by the idea that my body houses all the thoughts, feelings, and spirits of me, and there is no need to stress yourself.
In a fact, over the whole course of our life, repressed emotions and stress are stored in the body, often showing up as pain or tension. But what I felt using this practice, is that it strives to help me to develop a positive relationship with the emotional parts of me, so you can release tension that is negatively affecting your health and well-being. In this way, RSM aims to increase awareness of how our mind and body are connected.
Also, by viewing those concepts that I keep in my mind, as well as sharing them and understanding their roots, I started encouraging people around to simply notice what they are thinking and feeling at each point of contact, because this method also useful to increase one’s sense of inner peace, improve self-esteem, and increase body-mind awareness and acceptance. In order to progress and achieve the best possible results in any field of life, it is necessary to raise awareness and reflect on our attitudes and behaviors. Then we can more easily, direct them in the direction we want and take control of ourselves. And finally, self-development makes us happier because of all this.
